Is there any brand of gas scooter thats a legal status for use in California?

I'm looking for a scooter folding light gases or comonly known as go-ped is or four times or two times thats California has adopted. I hate stupid law California, but I love California in general. Is there a way to circumvent the rules and get a foot gas scooter is legal for use in California? I will start college and I walk a little gas scooter is all I need to travel. So, can anyone help me?

I searched the DMV website in California that allows the use of lift gas scooters, but does not mention that I could find emission standards for decibel ratings only for the silencer, and provisions for the use of the street. Therefore, I do not know what would trigger a police officer to confiscate his scooter and test its emission standards if you follow all traffic laws. In addition, if gardeners can worry all with their leaf blowers, why not be able to use a small motor transport?
